Who really benefits from Africa ?

Greetings to you all

I decided to take some time and look at the current problems facing the majority of our African people, I mean Africa is such a beautiful and rich continent in terms of natural resources we have so much minerals which should be benefiting us but who really benefits from all these minerals and resources? I mean we have gold, crude oil and many other natural resources which we should be benefiting from but, is this the case? We have mines which we don't run, gold which we just work hard to dig up, of which ends up being sold back to us at a ridiculous price, land which we don't even own, and oil which other countries exploit us for. Why can't African countries be the owners of their very own resources instead of western forces trying to intervene and exploit Africa? Which leads me to another question, have our very own African leaders sold us out? I mean Africa is still exploited for its resources and what are our leaders doing about this? Are they the ones to be blamed? If all the minerals in Africa were owned by Africans and benefited the majority of African people wouldn't Africa be a global superpower? We have banks which make so much money from us as Africans but end up moving HUGH amounts of that money overseas and who really benefits from this? What will happen the day African countries run out of their minerals? Will they have something to show for this once this happens? One of my favourite sayings is "Mayibuye iAfrika" which one might translate to let Africa come back but, has Africa really come back to its rightful owners? Which leaves me with this question who really benefits from Africa?

MAYIBUYE iAFRIKA !
